masters of their craft—delighting time after
time their audiences with piano magic.
What separates these two from the rest are the
bridges they build across musical form and
genre. Our audiences are not only mesmerized
by their performance, they are educated as well.
Bravo! ” —Lawrence J. Knowles, Ph.D., Director,
Harmony Hall Regional Arts Center

“The journey through changing styles of
music was great fun . . . and the mix of
classics with jazz was perfect.”

A New York Story...
Alex and Frank met while living just a floor apart
in an old hotel in New York’s Upper West Side.
Alex was practicing for classical recitals and
Frank was preparing for gigs at local jazz clubs.
Chopin and Gershwin could be heard from their
apartments, dueling for air space . . . .they drove each other nuts!
When Alex moved, the two became friends and
began attending each other’s concerts. They soon
decided to join forces—to perform the music heard in that hotel, but in a much more organized fashion. And so was born the All4One Piano Duo .
The All4One Piano Duo was created to break down conventional musical boundaries and to boldly step forward into a new genre of chamber music performance. From start to finish, the show is an aural and visual tour de force. Entertaining solo and duo performances seamlessly alternate with lively and fascinating stories, including their own New York story, supported by piano underscoring. Their uniquely original four-hand arrangements juxtapose the likes of Chopin with Jobim, Beethoven with swing and a tag team dance medley that caps off the program.
The All 4One Piano Duo has performed a hundred plus concerts along the east coast, with numerous performances in the New York metropolitan area that include Weill Recital Hall@ Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Steinway Hall @ Steinway and sons, and Museum of Modern Art (for upcoming concerts go to the calendar link). From concert halls to local venues, the All4One program has attracted a diverse audience that include special events such as an interactive children’s concert, the history of the piano, Black history month, and Hispanic Heritage month.
